Even though 2020 has brought us a lot of postponements in the wedding industry we still have to give COVID a thanks for sticking couples together for a few months because it led to a lot of engagements. We’re so happy meeting new people like this wonderful couple Anna-Maria and Ed! Ed reached out to Designs by Daisy and had a wonderful idea to propose to his lovely girlfriend Anna-Maria. From there we started the planning process. We picked the cutest winery called the Inn at Grace Winery which is situated on thirty-five acres in the historic Brandywine Valley. We thought it would be a great idea for Ed to tell Anna-Maria they are doing a photoshoot together celebrating their 2^nd year anniversary at the winery, and then in a secret location he will get down on one knee. Thank you to Kate Neal Photography for capturing all the amazing pictures from the most perfect day! 

Then, Ed mentioned Anna-Maria had family all across the world (Denmark, Germany, and beyond!), so we reached out to Deep Focus Pictures who created a Zoom meeting with all her family members so they could congratulate Anna-Maria and Ed after the proposal! Deep Focus Pictures also had all the family members on LIVE Zoom while Ed and Anna-Maria were doing their “photoshoot.” Thank you, Deep Focus Pictures, for making such a memorable video!

To put the icing on the cake we had a great idea for an airplane flying over during their photoshoot that says, “Happy Anniversary, I love you Anna-Maria!” It sure did throw off Anna-Maria with that great surprise and before you know it a second one would fly over saying, “Congratulations!” after she says YES! It was such an amazing day for the happy couple. Filled with so much love, rose petals, candles, and can’t forget the champagne when they celebrated! Covid might be postponing weddings, but it didn’t stop couples from saying YES to engagements.
